Hi, I am Tommaso, I am italian and 12 years old. I live in Tenerife and my home spot is El Medano. I am sponsored by Eleveight Kites, Prolimit, El Medano Kiteclub and Sognicanarias Watersports.

Who was your biggest inspirations when you started kitesurfing?

I live in the same place where Jeremy Burlando and Casati brothers train. So I started to learn kitesurfing and since those days i never missed a day of wind.

Was it your first time kitesurfing in St.

Peter-Ording? How did you like the conditions?

Yes was my first time. Crazy weather! But i enjoyed it because we were expecting this conditions so i trained a lot before on light wind. Where I live we have strong wind over 30 knots lots of time.

Who is you favorite kitebuddy to train with and why?

Jeremy Burlando, samuband, Jacopo Franza, because they are very nice with me, they always push me and give best tips and we ride together all the time.

Sometimes when I go to Gran Canaria i enjoy riding togeher with Leo Casati and his brother Lorenzo because Leo gives me super good tips. Santiago Kite because he is my teammate and is super motivating to train together.

Figo, Gonzalo Capela, Niam Martinez, Kai and all the others because we compete hard during the

heats but than when we train together

and also out of the water we are like

brothers.

How is Big Air compared to other Kitesurf disciplines ? Which one Is the hardest?

Freestyle is the hardest one. I should train more on freestyle. Even if it is a bit frustrating, because is very hard to land new tricks, I think is very important to have a good level in freestyle.

What was the toughest part of the competition for you?

When Niam got injuried during the competition.

What moment of the competition where you most proud of?

Reaching the final and going very close to win was a great feeling but also angry for my back check on the last trick that maybe would have been enough to win !
